Saliguard® PCG is a clear, colourless cosmetic preservative blend used by formulators to protect water-based products such as lotions, face creams, toners, cleansers and shampoos from microbial contamination. Its mild profile and excellent compatibility make it suitable for sensitive skin formulations and products made with botanical waters, hydrolats, herbal extracts and emulsions.

This preservative contains Caprylyl Glycol, Phenoxyethanol and Propylene Glycol, giving reliable preservation in water-based and water-free systems. Because it remains clear and neutral, it won’t change the fragrance, viscosity or appearance of your final cosmetic product.

Compatible with emulsifiers, surfactants, cosmetic acids, hydrosols and herbal decoctions. Ideal for professional formulators, indie skincare brands and serious DIY skincare makers.
